PeeWee AA, U13/U12, 2015-2016 (Aurora Minor Hockey)

November 6th saw the Tigers travel to Ottawa to compete in the Capital Fall Classic.  12 teams from all around  the province came to with the spectacular trophy and medals.

Yuk Yuks fundraiser a roaring success...literally!

A new season begins with a flurry of games over the next 2 weeks.  We have finished our earlybird tournament with the team showing continual improvement over the four games.  Now we start our regular season schedule.

Our early schedule is coming together and we have scheduled ice for our training camp.  Please check our calendar for the times and locations as they change throughout the week.

Well we have had two dryland sessions and we our starting to round into form.  As you know we have our Puck and Ball Challenge and so far the results have been strong.  In conjunction with that challenge we are working on specific skills at dryland as well as team play.  Last session, Coach Peter demonstrated stick handling techniques, that video has been added to our Youtube channel.  http://youtu.be/KmF40wWxQMQ please refer to this demonstration to reinforce the stick handling skills we need to improve.  Lastly, remember that we are now shooting our wrist shots with the heavy pucks.
