Right of Choice (West)
On March 4, 2001, a "boundaries" meeting was held between Aurora Minor Hockey (representatives included Steve Knight, Dave Thom, and David Saunders) and Nobleking Minor Hockey (representatives included Naz Marchese and Ian Middleton). On that date, the following boundaries were agreed to by both parties:

- Aurora's western boundary will be the east side of Bathurst Street.
- Nobleking's eastern boundary will be west side of Bathurst Street.
- Nobleking's northern boundary will be the south side of 17th Sideroad.
- A "right of choice" area will exist from the north side of 17th Sideroad to the south side of Highway 9, between Bathurst Street and Highway 400.
- Nobleking will permanently release any player that falls within Nobleking's designated boundaries that is currently playing in Aurora. 
 

Right of Choice (East)

On October 1, 2000, a "boundaries" meeting was held between Aurora Minor Hockey and Stouffville Minor Hockey. On that date, the following boundaries were agreed to by both parties:

- Aurora's eastern boundary will be Highway 404.
- Stouffville's western boundary will be the east side of Woodbine Avenue.
- A "right of choice" area will exist from the east side of Woodbine Avenue and from Bloomington Sideroad in the south to one building lot north of St. John's Sideroad in the north.
- Stouffville will permanently release any player, or their sibling(s), that falls within Stouffville's designated boundary and who has played in Aurora for two seasons or more.
