Yuk Yuks fundraiser a roaring success...literally!
The Yuk Yuks fundraiser held at Aw Shucks was a huge success. This event was our first fundraiser of the season and all those who attended complained that their faces were sore from laughing so hard. With approximately 200 attendees, Aw Shucks was a great venue. The staff did a great job serving up delicious appetizers and keeping everyone's cup full.
The comics entertained with an electricity only experienced at a live comedy show. Poking fun at all aspects of life including minor hockey! Almost like they have been watching our team play.
A special thanks go out to Dan Hadcock and Kirk Crowe for their hard work developing this fundraising idea and organizing the event. To everyone that attended, worked the door and sold 50/50 draw tickets thanks. This fundraiser will go a long way to help pay for our 2015-16 season.
