SKATE CARE TIPS
We
have been seeing increased occurrences of nicked/damaged skate blades
and players saying "but we just got them sharpened!" A lot of these
issues can be avoided by players taking proper care of their skates
after a game or practice. Two simple tips are: a proper wipe down of
the skates after use, and using skate guards to protect he blades when
the skates are bouncing around inside their hockey bags. Please take a read of a full skate care article. Your players should take a few minutes to read it as well.
