As the holiday season approaches, it is the perfect time to be thankful for our own
blessings, while giving back to those less fortunate in the community.
This year the Minor Bantam AA Tigers team along with their families, have chosen to make a generous donation to Welcoming Arms Aurora to help deliver a message of hope during the holiday season.
Welcoming Arms Aurora was founded in 2006 by a group of local churches with the vision of “relieving the burden of poverty in our community”. For more information about Welcoming Arms, or if you would like to make a donation, please visit http://www.welcomingarms.ca.
Thanks to Krista Graham for stepping up and organizing this initiative. She spent many hours collecting and wrapping new toys, clothing and other gift items with the hopes of brightening the holidays for many families and individuals.
