Midget A, U17/U16, 2016-2017 (Aurora Minor Hockey)

Hello all and Welcome to the 2016-2017 Aurora Tigers Midget A team!!   Congratulations to all the boys – it looks like we have a GREAT team and I am looking forward to an AMAZING season.   Now that tryouts are done and the team is picked we have some work to do. Please find below some action items that need to be taken care of right away.  

We will be expecting to play 2 games per week and 1 practice.    We will NOT be overloading with extra practices or games, as we strongly believe that players of this age need time for other activities.  We strongly believe that Family and School must come first.    We will also be looking to keep the team budget to a minimum.    Hockey should be played for the love of the game – in a positive and stress-free environment.  An environment where important life skills can be developed (time-management, prioritization, team-building, leadership, commitment etc.)  If you have any ...

We are looking for some additional players for the Midget A team.    If you are a Rep level player who is looking for a fun, positive Rep hockey experience – we want you!   If you are interested, please sign up and get a passport – we look forward to seeing you at the re-scheduled tryouts.   If you know of others who are interested, please have them also sign-up.  We are also looking for players from other centres that do not have a Midget A program for this year (Newmarket, Uxbridge etc.)   Please feel free to contact me directly if there are any questions.   Respectfully, ...
