Hockey equipment Tips
Follow-up from Jerome's email...
"...Hockey Canada that provide some good
information on the proper fitting and selection of hockey equipment for
your players.
Ultimately after you find something that will provide proper protection and sizing, player comfort will help you decide what to go with. There is a detailed article for players, one for goalies, and then the "HTCP" attachment is a good one page summary. The "player" document contains good information about caring for and cleaning of equipment. As our boys get older (and smellier!) proper care of the equipment becomes more of a health and hygiene issue. Improper care of equipment can lead to smells that we don't necessarily enjoy in the dressing room, but more importantly can lead to respiratory issues, especially for those players who may have a pre-existing condition (eg asthma). So please take a moment to read the material."
I have attached these documents to the our documents library (left side of our team page) under Equipment Tips.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Jerome.
