The Aurora Tigers U16A team was honoured to host players, coaches, parents and Nolan’s Dad, James, from the Upper York Admirals U16A team.
Before our game with the Richmond Hill Jaguars, we observed a moment of silence as we lost one of our own, #86 Nolan Ion from the U16A Upper York Admirals who passed away suddenly on March 18th.
We presented to Nolan’s dad, James, a Tigers home jersey with Nolan’s name and number which included a message “your hockey brother’s forever” and signed by the players from the Tigers team.
Each member of the team also received a commemorative Tigers puck with Nolan’s name and number.
Our hearts and prayers continue to be with the team, the community and the family during this tragic time.
