York Region Vaccine Eligibility Expands to 12-17yr

To the members of the Aurora community,

Starting today, May 21, 2021 at 8:30 a.m., anyone 12 years of age and older living, working or going to school in York Region is eligible to book an appointment for their COVID-19 vaccination. Currently, Pfizer  

is the only vaccine authorized by the Government of Canada for those age 12 to 17. Individuals must be 12 years old as of the date of their appointment.

Individuals 13 years of age and under require a parent or legal guardian to provide consent at the time of the vaccination. If a parent or legal guardian is unable to accompany their 12 and/or 13-year-old child to the appointment they can complete and sign a consent form and send it with the child to the appointment.


Newmarket – Aurora 2 Pop Up Clinics

This weekend, on Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23, 2021 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pop-Up Clinic at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex, 1914B Mount Albert Side Road, Town of East Gwillimbury

Open to individuals age 18+ living, working or attending school anywhere in York Region. The Moderna vaccine will be offered at this clinic; residents must be 18 years of age at the time of their vaccination.

Aurora Pop Up Clinic

Next weekend, in the Town of Aurora on Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30. The clinic will operate from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will be located at the Aurora Community Centre at 1 Community Centre Lane. The Pfizer vaccine will be offered at this clinic. Anyone 12 years of age and older who lives, works or attends school in the Town of Aurora is eligible to book an appointment to receive a vaccine.
