U15 MD Nazem Kadri North London Classic Champs!
Congratulations to the U15 MD team for an incredible accomplishment this past weekend. Winners of the Nazem Kadri North London Classic Tournament.
Having a 4-0-1 record going into the final, with less than 6 minutes left in the game they were down 2-0 to the team they'd previously beat 5-1. With 17 seconds left, shorthanded, they scored the tying goal. After a five minute overtime the game was still tied.
After two amazing saves, a sweet deke goal to keep them in it, one of our defencemen scores a beauty to win the shootout and the championship.
These amazing boys displayed grit, resilience, and compassion this weekend, with all heart, and simply are great friends who love to play hockey together. And their coaches are unbelievable, on and off the ice.
We love volunteering our time for this organization for moments like this. When all the stars align and you have the most perfect weekend with amazing families.
