Minor Atom AE Tigers Rocked the Hometown Hockey Cheer Stage.... The Minor Atom AE Tigers rocked the stage for the Hometown Hockey Cheer Contest. Their spirit was fierce and their voices loud! Unfortunately, the Newmarket Redmen cheer topped the charts. The coaching staff, parents, and friends all cheered the Tigers on as the team represented Aurora proudly. Tigers Minor Atom AE Team is a Finalist for the Hometown Hockey Cheer Contest The Minor Atom AE Tigers have been named as one of the five finalists for the Hometown Hockey Cheer Contest. The team will be giving their cheer on stage at the Hometown Hockey event at Riverwalk Commons in Newmarket on Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m., with the winner announced shortly thereafter. The winner of the five team finalists in Newmarket will earn a spot in the National Finals.
