Dear Tigers, My name is Marc Warner and I’ll be your Tyke MD Head Coach.
There will be a total of 3 tryout sessions on the following dates:
Sunday, April 24th 12:15pm-1:45pm ACC1
Saturday, April 30th 1:30pm-3:00pm ACC2
Saturday, May 7th 12:00pm-1:30pm ACC2
The players will be assigned a tryout jersey colour and number. Jerseys must be handed back to the coach following each tryout. Kindly note that full protective gear is mandatory, including neck and mouth guards – players without, or missing such equipment, will not be allowed on the ice.
To ensure the selection process is fair, there will be a team of independent evaluators assisting me in assessing the players. Please do not approach evaluators.
All communication this year following the three tryouts will be posted on the team website. If your athlete has made it through to the next tryout, their 5 digit ID number (which is provided on the Paypal receipt) will be posted. Tryout results will be posted by midnight that same day.
Please note: Any player that is released after the first tryout and would like to come back and tryout as a goalie, please get in contact with me and we can also arrange for goalie equipment if need be.
A parent meeting for those selected to the team will be scheduled at a later date.
