Mr. Alan Peck, CPA, CA is the Senior Manager, Executive Office with Melrose Investments Inc. and has been a volunteer coach with
numerous male and female sports organizations for the past 25 years. He has been requested to coach
many players with hearing, learning, and social challenges.
Within the AMHA, Mr. Peck is a parent of two hockey players as well as a Coach, Trainer, and Manager.
Mr. Peck was named the Coach of the Year during the 2017/2018 year and Manager of the Year for the
2021/2022 hockey season.


Carlos Goncalves [email protected]

Mr. Goncalves is a graduate of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School at CFB
Borden. Mr. Goncalves is married with 3 children. He has been a Police Officer for 29 years and is
currently a Detachment Commander within the OPP Highway Safety Division.
Mr. Goncalves has been involved in minor hockey as a coach, referee, and board executive for many
years.


Joe Bentolila [email protected]

Mr. Bentolila is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion in Minor Hockey. Mr. Bentolila is a local
business owner; he is married and lives in Aurora with his wife and two children.
Mr. Bentolila has been active in Minor Hockey since 1997. He has been a Manager, Trainer, and Board
Member within the Aurora Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) and is currently the President of the
AMHA. 

Lily Peck (Former Player) [email protected]

Ms. Peck is an Honor Roll student at GW Williams High School in Aurora. She is a former member of the Alliance
Club at GW Williams High School and has been involved with bringing knowledge and issues to the
general school population for the past two school years.
She played House League hockey in the AMHA; and was one of the two, female identified
players in the U16/U17 division during the 2022/23 season.
She wears a hearing aid in her right ear and receives Hearing Assistive Technology at school, providing
her with a unique perspective regarding inclusion among peers.


Mike Baskin [email protected]

Mr. Baskin is a graduate of York University, a part time Realtor and Designer of pre-engineered steel
buildings. Mr. Baskin has lived in Aurora for the past 7 years.
Mr. Baskin has been involved with the AMHA for many years and has a son playing hockey in the
association. He is currently a House League Convenor, committed to ensuring accessibility, fairness, and
inclusion in minor sports.

Wendy Martin-Vickerman [email protected]

Mrs. Vickerman is currently the Vice President of Leasing for Smart Centres as well as a business owner
in the Town of Aurora. She is of Aboriginal descent and grew up on the Lower North Shore of Quebec
near the border of Labrador. At an early age she had to deal with the challenges of moving away from
her family to finish her high school before moving on to pursue her career.
Mrs. Vickerman is the mother of two older boys who still play hockey at a very competitive level and have
also been members of several different hockey programs in the area. She had volunteered with the York
Simcoe Express, starting off as the equipment manager and working her way up to Vice President of
Hockey Operations. She is very passionate about hockey and the community.
