Welcome Letter
Welcome to the 2018/19 Minor Peewee A Team Tryouts!
Welcome and thank you for taking part in the 2018/2019
“Minor Peewee A” tryout. My name is Jamie
Fryer and I will be the head coach for the 2018-19 season. I would also like to announce that James
Mildon will be an assistant coach. Please
see the information below for details on the upcoming season.
Team Goal
My goal is for this team to be the hardest working, most
competitive team in our league while also being one of the least penalized
teams. I strongly believe that we can outwork
and out compete our competition without taking bad penalties. I want our group to be a team first / pass
first hockey team with no cliques in the dressing room. I expect the players to respect each other,
coaches, their opponents and referee’s. I want this group to love each other, play for
each other and have fun at practice and in games. I’m confident that we will have an amazing
year if we can achieve this goal.
Tryout Schedule
Tryout #1 = Sunday, April 29 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at
ACC1
Tryout #2 = Monday, April 30 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at ACC1
Tryout #3 = Wednesday, May 2nd from 6:15 PM to
7:45 PM at ACC1
Selection or Release Process
After each session a list of passport numbers will be posted
on the 2018/2019 Minor Peewee A webpage.
These numbers will indicate which players are being asked to return, those
not listed will have been released to the Minor Peewee AE team.
Team Budget
$2K to $2.5K per family
