Congratulations are extended to our Peewee RS Tigers for winning the
Lefroy Icebreakers Tournament in Innisfil this past weekend (December 15
to 17, 2017).
On Friday, the Tigers defeated the Forest Hill Force, 4-0, and Victoria Village, 6-0. On Saturday, the team defeated a strong North Toronto team, 3-0, to emerge from the round robin with three wins and no losses. In the championship game on Sunday, the Tigers took on North Toronto for the title.
In a hard-fought and closely-matched game, the Tigers scored with just under five minutes remaining to hang on for a 1-0 championship game victory.
Congratulations to the kids for their strong efforts, to the coaches for their dedication, and to the Tigers Peewee RS parent group for their loud cheers and unwavering support! Great work Tigers!
