Minor Bantam A Tigers Win Silver Stick Regional in Sudbury
Congratulations are extended to our Minor Bantam A Tigers for winning the Silver Stick Regional Tournament in Sudbury this past weekend.


The team came through the round robin with a record of 2-1. In Game #1 they defeated the Nickel City Westside Warriors, 4-1. In Game #2, the Tigers lost a close game to the Nobleking Knights, 3-1. In Game #3, they bounced back into the win column with a 6-4 victory over the Nickel City Flyers.

Moving forward to face the Orillia Terriers, both teams played evenly throughout. The Tigers were able to score one goal which was enough to win the game, 1-0, and propel them into the championship game. In the championship game against the East Gwillimbury Eagles, the Tigers won the game, 5-2. In winning the Silver Stick Regional Tournament, the Minor Bantam A Tigers now move on to the Silver Stick International Tournament, being held in Newmarket, January 12-15, 2017.
