2nd Letter from Coach
Parents,
Please use this as your source of all information related to the Major Bantam team.  Check the website often both prior and during tryouts for all relevant information. Please look for the successful candidates to be posted around 7pm tomorrow as outlined to the players on the ice today.

There is a unique situation this year for Major Bantam, Parents should note that the YSE team had posted a tryout after the AA schedule was created.  There will be more players attending the next tryout and so its important unfortunately to reduce our players early to keep the numbers as reasonable as possible.

In the spirit of open communication I would like to advise each of you of some dynamics as we collectively work thru the next week.

1) An additional ice was allocated to the YSE Bantam team on April 26th, this will be AFTER our first tryout.  I will be assisting Coach Mike which hopefully will help with Aurora/NRP transitions if any.
2) A large number of players attended this afternoon which makes it difficult on everyone.  We had 3 on ice instructors and 4 off ice evaluators.
3) All sessions will be run by 3rd parties.   Justin Peca(OHL) and Ciro Naso(http://www.powerstridez.com/about)
4) We are considering an exhibition game but this will only be possible if I can reduce the numbers thru tryouts 1 and 2.  I personally don't believe in NOT playing players in an exhibition game.  If that is the case I will simply avoid an exhibition game.

I want to emphasize that I will continue to communicate thru this website.

Please make sure you fully understand that after each tryout a list of players 5 digit numbers will be posted.

As an aside my son was injured at the AAA tryouts this year.  Unfortunately he will NOT be attending tryouts as he is out 6 weeks with a broken collar bone.  The AMHA has been advised.
