Thank-you for attending the 2015-16 Minor Bantam A tryouts!
Our tryouts will be comprised of three on-ice sessions.
Please come prepared, this includes having all equipment and a water
bottle.

General Information:
The intention is to fill a roster with 15 skaters and 2 goalies. There will be no body checking during the tryouts and the schedule is:

The first tryout will focus on individual skill assessment, the second tryout will focus on individual and team tactics and the third tryout will include a long inter-squad scrimmage.
Evaluations
A group of experienced evaluators, most of whom are not familiar with this age group will be employed. The players will be evaluated based on a number of criteria including individual skills, team skills, coach-ability, desire, and character.
Invite Back Process
Approximately 2hrs after the first two tryouts the passport codes for the returning players will be posted on the website. Please carefully check for your code on the website. For the final tryout the team will not be posted until the next day. For those players released if you wish to have a discussion please feel free to contact me after 24hrs have elapsed.
Team Philosophy
The team identity will be a hard-working, fast, puck position team. For the most part playing time will be equal, with the possible exception of PP, PK and the last few minutes of important games. Players will not be benched for mistakes but may be benched for discipline reasons but will be held accountable for their behavior. The goal is to have enjoyable hockey experience for all the players in an environment where all are comfortable.
Important Dates
Jersey fitting will occur Saturday May 9, 12 pm - 5 pm in the lobby of ACC2.
Tigerware fitting will occur on Tiger Fun day, Saturday June 20th.
There will also be a mandatory team meeting shortly after tryouts where the financial, hockey development, and general plans for the season will be detailed.
