Welcome to the AMHA
Atom A team tryouts and thank you for taking the time to attend.
My name is Gino DiGioacchino your head coach
for the 2015-16 season. I would also like to introduce Brian Veloso who will be
one of my Assistant Coaches during the season. I will be selecting the
remainder of my staff immediately after the final tryout once the team is
selected.

This year, the AMHA has upgraded their technology and we will be using this website as the primary means of communication during the tryout sessions. Please pay careful attention to this website to ensure you have the most up to date information on the status of your player.
The tryouts will be an anxious time for all of us while the players are evaluated. The players will be assigned a tryout jersey colour and number. Jerseys must be handed in to the coach following completion of each tryout.
It will be an extremely difficult task choosing 17 players (15 players, 2 goalies) for each team from a large group of hardworking athletes. The final position of each player is at the discretion of the coach. Player selection will be based on their individual abilities within these four categories:
Skating Ability Work Ethic & Attitude
Passing, Shooting & Puck Control Team & Game Play
To ensure the selection process is fair, there will be a team of evaluators assisting me in assessing the players. The tryout schedule is a follows:
Saturday May 2, 2014 @ ACC 2 from 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Sunday May 3, 2014 @ ACC 1 from 11:00am - 12:30pm
Tuesday May 5, 2014 @ ACC 2 from 6:15pm - 7:45pm
All communication of our decisions after each tryout will occur via this website and NOT at the arena. Your son's passport submission ID number is your code that identifies your player.
After each tryout, please visit the AMHA website to see if your son's code is on the list of players invited to the next tryout. Tryouts 1 and 2 results will be posted 2 hours immediately following each tryout.
The final team roster will be posted 24 hours following the final tryout.
Please note the following two important dates:
Jersey fitting date for Atom A: Saturday May 9 from 12pm to 5pm.
Saturday June 20th 11:30 am - 4:00 pm AMHA Tiger Fun day - Machell Park.
ALL Teams will be sized for their tigerware ( off ice attire) at this association event. We will also be having a bbq and some fun activities for the players and their families to enjoy.
