PeeWee AE Tigers win Georgina Silver Stick Tournament!
The Peewee AE Tigers won the Georgina Regional Silver Stick on the weekend sending them to the Pelham Finals January 8th-11th. It was an exciting, heart-stopping weekend of hockey with both the semi-final and final games going to overtime. In the final game against the Newmarket Redmen, it took a 5 minute OT period plus 2 minutes of 4-on-4, 3-on-3 and finally in the 2-on-2 the Tigers were able to score and bring home the Championship! It was a weekend of hard fought battles but the boys never wavered and kept their goal in sight. Coaches and parents were very proud of the determination of each and every Tiger. Bring on the finals in Pelham! Go Tigers!!!
